Canucks Goalie Offers Official Apology to Jeremy Swayman

Vancouver Canucks' goalie, Thatcher Demko, went viral this week for the wrong reasons after his diss of the Bruins' Jeremy Swayman. Video surfaced of the Bruins goalkeeper offering a hug to the other netminders at the All-Star Game festivities, but when it was Demko's turn for the friendly embrace, he appeared to ignore Sway completely as he left the locker room.
Sway was asked about the incident by reporters and he explained that Demko did come to apologize the next morning for the accidental slight. He also offered a hug during morning skate to make up for his offense.
It appears as though Demko was focused on the task at hand and simply didn't notice Swayman on his way out of the locker room. It also looks like there will be no hard feelings between the All-Star goaltenders going forward and hopefully they can look back on the incident and laugh the next time they meet.
