Could Linus Ullmark be heading to the Devils?

The Bruins find themselves in a dilemma concerning their goaltender situation next season.

As it stands, the Bruins are currently looking to clean house and are looking to trade some assets around to make some room in their salary cap. Jeremy Swayman's stellar performance in the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs has asserted his role as the starting net minder for the B's. With the #1 position locked up by Swayman, what does this mean for Linus Ullmark?

Sources are speculating that the best option for Ullmark could be the New Jersey Devils. With more than $18 million in free salary cap space and a struggling starting goaltender in Akira Schmid, New Jersey finds itself on a mission to lock down Ullmark before the season opener.

In order to make this happen, the New Jersey Devils would most likely need to give up their 10th overall pick in this year's NHL draft. "If we feel it helps us now and in the foreseeable future, then, yes, I'm listening," Fitzgerald said. "I haven't gotten anything yet but the more I talk to teams, I say 'Listen, I'm open to moving No. 10, but it's going to have to be something (significant).'" Fitzgerald comments.

Could we see the likes of Ullmark moving to New Jersey in the coming weeks? Only time will tell.
