DeBrusk Finally Comments on Trade Rumors

Jake DeBrusk has been a frequent name that Bruins fans have been hearing for the past few years when the deadline comes around. This year is no different, especially with his contract coming up.

After practice today, DeBrusk was asked about recent rumors to which he said he has heard them and that every year when the deadline comes around, it is hard not to think about them. Additionally, he said that even though the Bruins have been travelling a lot in different time zone, it is hard to avoid the rumors. DeBrusk was also asked about if anything has changed in terms of contract extension to which he said that so far there has been nothing.

It looks like there is a good chance that DeBrusk will be moved at the deadline since talks between his camp and the Bruins regarding an extension have stalled. Fans will find out in the next week if he will be with the team for at least the rest of the season or start fresh somewhere else.
