The Boston Bruins have expressed interest in acquiring Martin Necas in a trade deal. General Manager Don Sweeney has now obtained information regarding this trade deal and what that may look like for the Bruins moving forward.
While that is a possibility, that is still not something that is set in stone and Don Sweeney will now have to consider if this trade deal is worth the cost mentioned and if Martin Necas is worth keeping in the long run. There are also several other teams who want to have Necas on their roster, so the NHL lottery will certainly determine what happens with trade deals coming in for Necas.
Necas is undoubtedly a great addition to any team looking to rebuild and improve this coming season. Each contender has a different culture and community, and it looks like it won't be an easy decision to make on Carolina's part, but the opportunities for Necas are endless.
The Bruins have room in their salary cap for Necas and to some this should be a no brainer, but the choice still lies in Carolina's hands and the highest bidder as several other teams consider Necas this summer. The NHL draft is sure to be one that cant be missed this summer as several teams look to improve their odds at making it to the playoffs next season.
