The Bruins have officially lost Danton Heinen as he has decided to sign with the Vancouver Canucks.
It was already pretty clear that Heinen would not be returning to Boston next season as the Bruins were looking to replace him. Heinen signed a 2 year $2.25 million AAV with the Canucks.
Danton Heinen, signed 2x$2.3M by VAN, is a middle six utility winger who produces at a good rate, has strong puck skills, can play anywhere in the lineup, and kills penalties. Nice to see him finally get more than a one-year. #Canucks
Heinen proved his worth this season as he was an impactful player for the Bruins this season and was able to land his biggest pay-day yet with the Canucks.
