Every Bruins fan remebers last year's memorable season which was followed by a blown 3-1 lead in the first round that sent Boston home early.
Leafs defenseman Jake McCabe stated in an interview that his team is well aware of what happened last year and believe they can make history repeat itself.
#Leafs defenseman Jake McCabe said the team has talked about how the #NHLBruins blew 3-1 series lead last year: "It's definitely been brought up ... Obviously they're sitting comfy at 3-1, and we want to put pressure on that. And that starts with winning tonight."
Clearly even though the Leafs are on the brink of elimination tonight, the team seems confident in their ability to come back. They will need to step their game up if they plan on doing so since their recent efforts have been far from enough to win.
