According to multiple insiders, it looks like DeBrusk and the Bruins will be parting ways especially since Sweeney seems to have found his replacement.
Insider David Pagnotta reported that the Jets will be looking to move Nikolaj Ehlers as he is not interested in re-signing in Winnipeg and the Bruins supposedly have some serious interest in the forward.
Ehlers is a proven consistent scorer in the NHL as he has put up a minimum of 20 goals in his last seven seasons and scored 25 with 61 points in 82 games this season.
It will be interesting to see what Sweeney does if DeBrusk does end up walking away.
