Major change in plans: Bruins are looking to re-acquire Linus Ullmark
With a recent statement made by Linus Ullmark not looking to extend with the Ottawa Senators, many fans believe that he wants to return to Boston in 2025.
The @NHLBruins and @Senators have made a deal that'll see Joonas Korpisalo and Linus Ullmark swap places!
Before the trade was even announced, it was clear that the Ottawa Senators would only go for Ullmark unless an extension would be in place. It seems that things have changed and Linus will not seek that contract extension during the season.
Ullmark has a cap hit of $5 million which could be a lot higher for goalie of his caliber. As he is betting on himself this season, all eyes will be on him as the Senators #1 goalie.
This past season he played 40 games and had a record of 22-10-7 , he bolsters a goals against AVG of 2.57 and a save percentage of .915% with two shutouts.

The main thing right now is that the Bruins can't focus on the "what if's" with Ullmark, they need to make sure the sign and extend G Jeremy Swayman to a deal that keeps him a Bruin for years to come.
