Jim Montogmery snapped on his team at practice today after a lack of effort on the ice in back to back losses last week.
The Bruins Head Coach was not pleased with his team's effort this morning so he decided to yell at them then made them skate.
Captain Brad Marchand spoke to the media after practice stating that he agrees with Montgomery's reaction and is happy he has a coach that holds his players accountable.
"It's one of those things," admitted Brad Marchand. "Every day it's our job to be sharp and to be on the ball and we weren't today. It's a great reminder from Monty that expectations are high here. Completely warranted, especially with the games we have coming up."
"We need to be dialed in every day and we weren't for the start of practice," he confessed. "So great job by him to notice that and keep us accountable and get us dialed in."
Clearly the Bruins captain agrees with his coach and expects more out of his team this late in season, especially if they plan on going deeper than last year in the playoffs.
