NHL veteran Mike Hoffman has been searching for a contract all off-season and as training camp is about to begin he finally found a PTO.
The Oilers announced this morning that they have signed Hoffman to a professional tryout.

Hoffman had 22 points in 66 points last season with the Sharks but which was also the worst team in the NHL which means he could probably double that production on a solid team like the Oilers.
This could be a great signing for the Oilers as Hoffman could end up being a solid producer as a 3rd line player playing for league minimum if he makes the team.
