After some personal and legal issues at the end of 2023, it has been unclear if Milan Lucic would ever play professional hockey again.
After the charges against the Bruins veteran were dropped this week, his attorney revealed that they have a positive plan for the future.
"He is looking forward to getting his life back on track and his career back on track."
It sounds like Lucic is looking to get his life back to normal both professionally and personally sooner rather than later. The Bruins have made it clear that Lucic will remain on leave for through then end of this season, there is a chance they could resign him for next season.
