NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman provides important on the Bruins trading Jeremy Swayman
NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman has given an update on if the Boston bruins are going to be trading Jeremy Swyaman amidst circulating rumors.
It seems like this is a never ending saga between the Bruins and Swayman as updates and rumors are in full swing. Yesterday Elliotte Friedman decided to give a speculative predication that the team might consider trading the restricted superstar. But today he went back on what he initially stated.
He spoke on the '32 Thoughts podcast' saying he did not speak to Bruins manager Don Sweeney directly, but he heard that the team has zero interest in moving on from their projected starting goalie.
With all that being said, it is confirmed that Swayman has elected to sit out until a deal is struck, and he is standing firm on what he things he deserves. o amidst the stalemate, the Bruins could easily grow tired of the situation and change their minds quickly.
The Bruins have already traded their true #1 goalie in Linus Ullmark, so trading both of their top goalies is definitely not part of the plan Friedman says.
As for right now, everyday there are no updates swirling so let's see what tomorrow holds.
