NHL insiders confirm Milan Lucic's fate with the Vancouver Canucks

After an alleged domestic incident involving Milan Lucic and his wife, during his second stint with the Boston Bruins, his contract was terminated and has been struggling to find a contract ever since.
Gary Bettman has publicly announced that Milan Lucic is no longer welcome in the NHL. There have been rumors circulating around that Lucic is linked with the Vancouver Canucks but NHL insiders have put these rumors to rest.
«According to a report from Thomas Drance & Rick Dhaliwal, the Vancouver Canucks have NOT shown any interest in forwards Nick Cousins or Milan Lucic, who are looking to resume their NHL careers for the 2024-25 season.»
As a native of Vancouver, Lucic has always had linked to the Canucks but nothing have ever come to fruition, and with the recent PTO signings of other players, it is very doubtful that he will even get an opportunity with another NHL team, let alone to Vancouver.
«The Canucks recently rewarded a PTO to Sammy Blais, but they also considered giving one to forward Jujhar Khaira, but ultimately decided against it.»
