Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery called out star forward David Pastrnak after game 6 saying he needed more from the player.
After the game 7 win Pastrnak spoke to the media about being called out saying if rolls would reversed, he would call out Montgomery for his play because he agrees with his head coach.
#NHLBruins Pastrnak on Montgomery:
«He said the stuff he did after Game 6 and I told him, If I'm the coach and you were me, I would say the same thing.' I had no problem with him saying that. He's trying to bring the best out of every single player and he expects more.»
Clearly the Bruins number 88 understood what his coach meant as he showed up big time for game 7 and scored the game winning goal.
