Maroon told reporters that the Bruins need to shoot more since their 18 shots last game are not enough to win. Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery and GM Don Sweeney told the media a different story as they believe the Bruins need to focus on quality instead of quantity when it comes to shots on net.
Maroon is not the first player to mention this, meaning the players and management are clearly on different pages when it comes to how to win games.
The Bruins as a whole better figure it out quickly as they face elimination tonight against the Panthers.
