Anthony Richard has been having a great season in Providence with 38 points in 41 games and was recently called up by the Bruins.
Richard was promoted to the first line where he will be skating alongside Charlie Coyle and Captain Brad Marchand. The Bruins are hoping that Richard can bring speed and intensity to their first line.
Anthony Richard on getting the chance to play alongside Brad Marchand and Charlie Coyle: "Doesn't change anything...for me, they put me out there to bring that same energy and same mentality I was working with on the third or fourth line."
Richard stated that he will be playing the same way he has played on the 3rd and 4th line, he believes they did not give him this promotion because they expect him to change how he plays now that he is on the first line.
