Former Red Wings winger Daniel Sprong agreed to a 1 year- 975K contract with the Canucks.
Since DeBrusk left the bruins have been looking to add some help on the wing and with 43 points last season while averaging around 10 minutes of ice-time, Sprong could have been a great addition.
The Bruins could have easily matched the contract the Canucks offered but it looks like Sweeney has other plans even though there is not any solid wingers left on the market.
