Sweeney makes statement regarding Brad Marchand's future

Since the end of the Bruins season there has been a lot of debate online regarding captain Brad Marchand's future in Boston.

Marchand recently came out saying he has spent his entire career as a Bruins and wants to finish it in Boston as well.

GM Don Sweeney spoke to reporters today stating that Marchand will finish his career in Boston and there is absolutely no plan on trading him.

This comes as no surprise since Marchand might be getting older but is clearly still a dominant player on the ice and a big part of the Bruins lineup.
