Trade: Trade rumor confirmed for Brandon Carlo and John Beecher

There have been lots of rumors circulating that the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers were in talks for making a blockbuster trade, but it seems that it wasn't true all along.
It was just confirmed that the trade rumor surrounding Brandon Carloand John Beecher potentially going to the Rangers was never really in the works.
Sadly, a bogus NHL trade rumor involving the #NHLBruins and #NYR is being talked about as if it's real. It's not.

The return for the two Bruins would have been New York's Captain, Jacob Trouba and enforcer Matt Rempe.

The trade could have been a big move for the B's but also Didn't make a lot of sense. GM Don Sweeney and the Bruins have been trying to re-sign G, Jeremy Swayman to a long term contract and going after Trouba with a cap hit of $6 Million AAV would put a halt in those plans.
Even though it would bolster the teams blue line, the number one priority is getting Swayman locked up.
