Jets forward Sean Monahan is set to become a free agent on July 1st and multiple teams are interested in the forward after a great and healthy season.
Monahan has been riddled with injuries for the past few years but after putting up 59 points in 82 games between Montreal and Winnipeg, he should be looking at a nice pay raise.
"The fact that he went through an entire season healthy, appearing in 83 games between Montreal and Winnipeg, is no small feat considering his injury history. " - Chris Johnston
Johnston believes Monahan will sign a contract around $5.25 million AAV on a 3 year contract which the Bruins could easily afford with their massive amount of cap space.
The Bruins would get a productive forward that is great at both ends of the ice for a cheaper price than Elias Lindholm or Steven Stamkos.
