According to NHL reporter Kevin Paul Dupont, The Boston Bruins could be announcing their new play by play announcer today after Jack Edwards retired at the end of the 2023-2024 season.

Dupont states that it is a joint decision between NESN and the Bruins to find a suitable replacement, and after many candidates considered, they could announce the winner today (August 8th).
