Oilers fans are pissed about McDavid and Draisaitl's participation with Bowman

Edmonton Oilers fans are pissed that Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl were not involved or even consulted about Stan Bowman being hired as the Oilers GM.
It has become sort of a major controversy right now in Edmonton as fans are just now finding out that their 2 biggest stars, who should be consulted on big decisions like this, were not even talked to before hand. Especially with the sensitivity of Stan Bowman returning to the NHL, these are things that need to be discussed and weren't.
What makes matters worse is that Leon Draisaitl has not signed a deal yet and McDavid is set to sign a contract soon, so to not involve them at risk of them being upset or not agreeing is a bold move made by Daryl Katz.
