There has been a lot of trade speculation surrounding Senators' Vladimir Tarasenko lately. The 32-year-old is far from the scorer he once was but can still make a difference and add some flare to a Cup contender if the Senators decide to trade him.
Insiders believe that the Sens will try to move Tarasenko before the deadline and that he is willing to waive his no-trade clause for a Stanley Cup contending team.
"The expectation is Vlad Tarasenko will be moved by the #GoSensGo ahead of the deadline. Speaking to those close to him, Tarasenko is open to a trade and will waive his NTC for a Cup contender."
Tarasenko has 38 points in 55 games with a 12 +/- rating this season with the Senators.
