The NHL has Sanctioned the Flyers Coach

The Flyers played the Lightning last night in a horrible 7-0 loss.

In the first period, the Flyers were down 4-0 when Tortorella decided to start yelling at referee Wes McCauley. It has yet to be disclosed what was exactly said but McCauley was not too pleased with the Flyers Head Coach and tossed him out of the game. Tortorella refused to leave but ultimately exited the bench after giving the referees another piece of his mind.

Elliotte Friedman announced Sunday evening that the NHL has decided to suspend Tortorella 2 games for his action.
