Tonight in the Blackhawks game against the St. Louis Blue, Bedard scored one on a nasty move from behind the net that hockey lovers everywhere have dubbed "The MIchigan Goal." Named after the legendary move from behind the net was used by Mike Legg in the 1996 NCAA Tournament for the Michigan Wolverines.
Tonight, Connor Bedar pulled off the Michigan in an NHL game. The goal consists of a high wrap around and put the puck above the goalie's shoulders (in this case poor Jordan Binnington) into the top corner of the net. This is incredibly difficult to perform, especially at such a high level of play in the NHL.
Sit back and enjoy the Connor Bedard show, this is only his first year, but players like Connor Bedar, no matter what team they are on make the NHL better!
