Once again, the Detroit Red Wings encounter an all-too-familiar situation.
In the Saturday night match, Robby Fabbri, the frequently injured forward for the Red Wings, faced another setback. This time, Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen delivered a contentious hit on Fabbri behind the net, around the midpoint of the third period, visibly unsettling Fabbri.
Subsequent to the collision, Fabbri not only left a noticeable mark on the ice but also struggled to maintain stability on his skates, even with aid from on-ice trainers. As he left the rink with assistance, Fabbri remained bent over, holding onto his head, suggesting the substantial impact of Ristolainen's hit on the smaller-built Red Wings forward.
