Cavendish fire: Capstone Colts junior hockey player tragically passed away

In heartbreaking news today, Noah Latimer, a Capstone Colt junior hockey player has tragically passed away due to a horrific fire, 3 others were injured.
The 4 players were at a cottage enjoying a nice weekend when the house suddenly caught on fire, the three other players were able to escape with injuries but unfortunately Noah Latimer was stuck inside.
"Three people who escaped the fire were injured, one with serious injuries. Once the fire was extinguished by the fire departments, human remains of one person were discovered inside.
The scene was held by the RCMP and the investigation is ongoing."

Noah was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he also played the majority of his junior career. He Also split time between playing in PEI and New Brunswick in the NSJHL and the MHL.

In Noah's short time with the Colts he made an immediate impact on the organization, being the ultimate teammate and even received playoff MVP award for the Colts.
