In tonight's Nashville Predators and Pittsburgh Penguins game, we saw an NHL record broken. The record broken was the most hits in a season and it was set by a former Boston Bruin who is now with the Nashville Predators, Jeremy Lauzon.
Lauzon, who played in 76 games, between three seasons for the Bruins, was credited with nine hits in the game against the Penguins and now has 383 hits on the season which surpassed the former record holder Matt Martin, who had 382 hits in a previous season. Lauzon's physical presence is what a lot of teams want, especially in the playoffs where we will see Lauzon and the Nashville Predators in the 2024 playoffs very soon.
