The Boston Bruins are getting ready to begin the NHL postseason as the season only has a couple of weeks left. During the season, the Boston Bruins signed Danton Heinen to a one-year contract, and now it appears, they will be parting ways with Danton Heinen in the offseason.

Danton Heinen is having a nice season for the Boston Bruins, especially since he did not have a contract when the season began. On the year he has played in 70 games, with 16 goals, 19 assists for a total of 35 points. The one year contract that Danton Heinen signed with the Boston Bruins was only for $775,000 so he clearly will be looking for a pay increase.

Per Bruins Insider, there are three teams that are rumored to be interested in Danton Heinen services. The 1st team is the Minnesota Wild, then there is the Philadelphia Flyers, who are in desperate need of offensive help, especially with their league worst power play. Lastly there is the Colorado Avalanche, which are already a deep team and Danton Heinen could add to their depth. If Danton Heinen does not resign with the Boston Bruins, then he will officially become a free agent again on July 1, 2024.
