The Draft lottery took place tonight and the first overall pick was awarded to the San Jose Sharks, 2nd to the Blackhawks and third to the Ducks.
San Jose wins the draft lottery...Chicago second and Anaheim third.

The 2024 NHL draft is set for Las Vegas at the Sphere on June 28 and 29. Gary Bettman announces the site during the lottery. After the reveal, San Jose Sharks win the No. 1 pick.
Since the Sharks have the first pick, it is likely that they will pick Macklin Celebrini as he is the clear number 1 choice in the draft without much competition.
Celebrini spent this season playing for Boston University where he won the Hobey Barker award from play player in the NCAA and put up 64 points in only 38 games as a true freshman.
