The NHL draft lottery picks have officially been announced

The Draft lottery took place tonight and the first overall pick was awarded to the San Jose Sharks, 2nd to the Blackhawks and third to the Ducks.
San Jose wins the draft lottery...Chicago second and Anaheim third.

Since the Sharks have the first pick, it is likely that they will pick Macklin Celebrini as he is the clear number 1 choice in the draft without much competition.
Celebrini spent this season playing for Boston University where he won the Hobey Barker award from play player in the NCAA and put up 64 points in only 38 games as a true freshman.
