Frank Seravalli has recently confirmed a trade between the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks, centering around Elias Lindholm as the key figure.
Elias Lindholm, aged 29, has achieved a total of 32 points this season, comprising nine goals and 23 assists, over 49 games with the underperforming Flames team.
On the other hand, Vancouver will need to adjust their strategy. It's probable that Andrei Kuzmenko, with his $5.5 million salary cap impact, might be transferred to Calgary to facilitate the success of this trade.
Told that Kuzmenko has officially signed off on his NTC to accept a trade to Calgary.
There's no extension in the works for Elias Lindholm as part of this Vancouver trade being worked on. He would be going as a rental at least at the outset.
