Rangers Officially Acquire New Player

It has been recently confirmed that the Seattle Kraken are trading Alex Wennberg to the Rangers, as confirmed by Sportsnet. It is taking some time to hear about the what's to come in return for this 29 year old Kraken player.
"Trade call was just completed. Alex Wennberg traded to the Rangers."
Wennberg is a pending unrestricted free agent. His current $13.5 million deal will be coming to an end after the current season concludes, as he signed it with the Seattle Kraken before any expansion took place.
Alex Wennberg has 9 goals and 16 assists throughout 60 games this season, making a total of 25 points. His average ice time for the Kraken puts him at the top of leading ice time for the team. His first appearance in the NHL was back in 2013 when he was picked by the Columbus Blue Jackets 14th overall. The Rangers eagerly await the potential the Wennberg can provide, and fans await to see what he can add to the team.
