Prominent hockey figure Lew Morrison, a revered veteran of the sport, passed away, leaving a lasting legacy.

Morrison, chosen as the 8th overall pick in the 1968 NHL Amateur Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers, enjoyed a remarkable 14-year career spanning multiple teams in the NHL and AHL. Wearing jerseys for the Flyers, Calgary Flames, Washington Capitals, and Pittsburgh Penguins, Morrison made significant contributions to the Quebec Aces, Richmond Robins, and Broome Dusters.

In his impressive career, he recorded 39 goals and 52 assists, accumulating 91 points in 564 games played
