Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney had already hinted at the slim chances of Nosek returning to the Black and Gold, and those indications proved accurate.
On Wednesday, the New Jersey Devils made the formal announcement, solidifying their acquisition of Nosek through a one-year contract worth $1 million.
During his two seasons with the Bruins, the 30-year-old forward made a significant impact on the team's performance.
In the previous season, Nosek showcased his scoring prowess, accumulating 18 points with seven goals and 11 assists. Similarly, in the preceding campaign, he left his mark by recording 17 points, with a strong emphasis on 14 assists.
Nosek's journey now leads him to the New Jersey Devils, marking his ninth season in the league. Prior to his time with the Bruins, he had previously donned the jerseys of the Detroit Red Wings and the Vegas Golden Knights.
