The injury bug has definitely hit the Bruins this year. As we approach the halfway point of the season, the Bruins are finally getting healthy again and it is showing up on the ice being winners of four of their last five games. Thursday before their game, Coach Jim Montgomery provided a positive update on injured Bruins Defenseman Derek Forbort.
Week to week, starting today as he ramps up and progresses. I'll have more news, but it's a good sign that he's finally on the ice.
Forbort, who hasn't played in a game since December 3rd, would be a positive sign for the Bruins Defensive lineup. The stay-at-home defenseman has four assists on the year, and a +4 rating.
