During the media scrum at Warrior Ice Arena, Pastrnak disclosed that he had sustained a shoulder injury early in Boston's seven-game series against Florida.
How early, you ask? According to Pastrnak, the injury occurred on his very first shift in game one, and he never fully recovered from it.
Thankfully, Pastrnak also mentioned that he doesn't believe surgery will be necessary, which is undoubtedly a relief for both him and the team.
Patrick Donnelly from Boston Sports Journal highlighted on Tuesday night that Pastrnak's injury likely happened after a failed breakaway attempt and a hit from defenseman Aaron Ekblad into the boards.

Despite his shoulder trouble, Pastrnak managed to score 5 goals in the seven games against the Panthers.
Although it wasn't the same Pastrnak who delivered 61 goals and 52 assists during the regular season, Bruins fans still witnessed his unwavering determination.
