Last night against the Coyotes, Pasta reminded us all who he is exactly, an extremely valuable offensive weapon who can score from anywhere at any time when he's on the ice. With the score tied at 0-0 and the Bruins on the power play, Pasta had the puck, skated to left dot of the goalie and sniped a rocket into about a 3-inch opening over Coyotes goalie Connor Ingram's shoulder to give the Bruins a 1-0 lead.
This goes to show you how the script can be flipped in the NHL overnight, literally. Pasta, who has been a legitimate MVP caliber player all year, was the laughing stock after the bizarre shootout attempt, to going back to looking like the superstar Bruins fans all know and love. Welcome Back Pasta!
