During the Bruins' recent Western Canadian road trip, Foligno was injured against the Flames. Since then, the 35-year-old has been on the injured reserve and is not expected to return until the playoffs.

Foligno's presence during the playoffs could be crucial for the Bruins. Although he has not experienced significant postseason success himself, "Uncle Nick" serves as the glue that holds the team together.
While Foligno is far from his career-high 73 points (2014-15), he has already doubled his point total from his first season in Boston. In 60 games this season, he has recorded 10 goals and 16 assists.
