Mark Divver from the New England Hockey Journal reported that Trevor Kuntar has agreed to an amateur tryout contract.
The 21-year-old Kuntar scored 13 goals and provided 16 assists in 34 games with Boston College this season. Over his three-year NCAA career, he totalled 28 goals and 31 assists in 93 games.
Kuntar's signing with Providence comes a week after he signed his entry-level contract with Boston.
Hailing from the State of New York, Kuntar was originally picked in the third round (89th overall) by the Bruins at the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.
