The upcoming game between the Boston Bruins and the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena this Saturday will mark another significant moment in their enduring rivalry.

For Bruins' rookie Matthew Poitras, though, this match holds added significance. Hailing from Ajax, Ontario, a suburb near Toronto, Poitras spent his formative years attending Maple Leafs games at Scotiabank Arena. While he's acquainted with the venue as a spectator, this Saturday will mark his inaugural experience playing there as a professional.

"It's going to be nice to get back home," Poitras said Friday. "It's pretty surreal, I was just thinking last year during Christmas break, me and my dad went to watch a game and now I'm going to be playing there. It's pretty crazy."

On Thursday's victorious game against the San Jose Sharks, he played as the center alongside Brad Marchand and Danton Heinen. However, during Friday's practice, he shifted to center James van Riemsdyk and Trent Frederic.
