During today's practice, a surprising twist unfolded as the Boston Bruins enlisted veteran goalie Tuukka Rask to fill in as an emergency backup goalie (EBUG).

Jeremy Swayman, the typical backup, couldn't make it to practice because of illness. To accommodate Rask's brief role, the Bruins promptly inked a one-day contract with him.
