Following a much-needed rest on Sunday afternoon during the game against the Hurricanes, the Bruins' roster will be strengthened by the return of several veterans.
Head coach Jim Montgomery revealed today that Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, and Hampus Lindholm will rejoin the lineup as the Nashville Predators come to Boston.
Aiming for Another Record
The return of these key leaders to the lineup isn't the only notable event, as the Bruins also have the chance to establish a new franchise record by defeating the Predators. According to Bruins PR:
''Boston can set the franchise record for single-season victories (58), while also having a chance to secure the fourth Presidents' Trophy in team history with a win and a Carolina loss in regulation.''
Bergeron and Marchand will reunite with Jake Debrusk on the first line, while Lindholm will be paired with his regular partner, Brandon Carlo.
