The Bruins have quite a few players set to become free agents on July 1st and after most of them had great seasons, this will involve pay raises.

Forward Jake DeBrusk is set to be one of the top free agents this summer and while the Bruins will likely let him test the market, he is apparently looking for a deal around $5.8 million per year on a 5 year term.

Danton Heinen surpassed expectations this year and while it is uncertain if he will re-sign with the Bruins, the Athletic believes he is headed for a $3.9 million contract.

Defenseman Matt Grzelcyk struggled immensely this season and will likely be signing a 1 year deal worth around $3.25 million as he looks to rebuild his reputation as a solid defenseman.

JVR and Derek Forbort are both getting older and are likely both looking at contract that float around $1 million but it will probably be somewhere else than Boston.

Pat Maroon made the veteran minimum last season of $775,000 but after proving he can still have an impact at 36, it is likely he signs around $1 million for 1 or 2 years.

While there are a ton of Bruins player set to become free agents, it is unlikely that Boston re-signs the majority of them as they are all older players apart from DeBrusk.
