According to insider Frank Seravalli, the Blues will be putting 33 year-old defenseman Torey Krug on the trading block this summer.
Krug has been surrounded by trade talk since last off-season and even blocked a trade from happening with the Flyers due to his NTC.
The Blues are going through a semi-rebuild and are trying to move the 33 year-old's $6.5 million contract to free up some much needed cap space. Krug is getting older but still had a very productive season offensively with 39 points in 77 games.
It will be interesting to see if the Blues are able to move him despite his big contract and if they do come to an agreement, if Krug will waive his NTC.
