Tyler Seguin made a miraculous comeback in his career as he almost retired in 2021 due to a nagging hip injury.

Plagued by a re-occurring knee and hip injury that kept him in and out of the lineup, the NHL star veteran questioned his ability to carry on playing hockey and ultimately considering hanging up the skates for good.

«It was a very dark time, My career may be over. Maybe this is the end. When I look back on this period, I realize that it was not a cry for help, but more a time when I had to learn about myself better. If my future was to be spent at the arena or not,» He told the NHL during an interview

Although it was difficult, he decided to take rehab very seriously and has found new life in his game. During the 2024 post-season, Seguin has tallied an astounding 12 points in 16 games so far. If the Dallas Stars make it to the Stanley Cup final, they can thank Tyler Seguin as he has put the team on his back and has been an irreplaceable asset for the team.

The Stars will look to put a 3-1 strangle hold on the series tonight against the Edmonton Oilers. Will Seguin come up big again?
