A ridiculous trade rumor has just surfaced between the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens
There are a lot of crazy mock trades and rumors that surface all of the internet, but this one has to be the most ridiculous.
A trade rumor was just reported that would send star goalie Jeremy Swayman to the Montreal Canadiens for goalie Samuel Montembeault, Lane Hutson and Ivan Demidov.
I mean, the trade package and return for the Bruins would be pretty decent but there is no world that the organization would decide to trade away Jeremy Swayman, he is not even signed for gods sakes.
In the 2023-2024 season, Montembeault started 41 games for the Canadiens as their 1A goalie. He secured a record of 16-15-0, 3.14 GAA, and a .903 save percentage.
In our opinion, the "mock trades" these bots come up with are getting out of hand because this deal would never happen.
