Aaron Ekblad's future with the Boston Bruins has just been confirmed
Aaron Ekblad Rumors have been heating up the last few days as the offseason is comin to an end.
The 2-year-old defenseman just won the Stanley Cup with the Florida Panthers may have to move on as he carries a large cap hit of $7.5 Million AAV. As GM Bill Zito has already signed Carter Verhaeghe and Sam Bennett, it appears like there isn't enough room to keep Ekblad.
With all the rumors, Bleacher Report Reporters, Lyle Richardson is extremely doubtful that Ekblad will be going anywhere. They already lost Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Brandon Montour so it has been named a priority to get a deal done to keep Ekblad in Florida.
In the past three seasons with the Panthers, Ekblad has accumulated 113 points, Scoring 33 Goals and 80 Assists) with an outstanding +/- rating of +51 in 182 games played.
