According to the rumors, the Colorado Avalanche are interested in Boston Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark.
The Avalanche have reason to want Ullmark since he has had 27 saves this past season with the Bruins and was also nominated for the Vezina trophy as well. That makes Ullmark a desirable candidate for any team.
The Bruins have needed better top four defensemen for some time now so gaining Girard would benefit them in that area. This also allows someone who is not afraid to stay in center ice or the surrounding area to move back and forth and guard the net while the other defensemen focus on other areas on the ice.
Girard is also a great team player and that would also benefit his teammates on the ice with passes and assists.
As for Georgiev, the Bruins do not necessarily need another goaltender however Georgiev would be great to work alongside the other goaltender on the team and pass on some wisdom for being a better goalie for the team. The Bruins would then have the flexibility to rotate both goaltenders as they see fit.
