Boggs announced the sad new on social media about his diagnosis but what he is going to do to beat the odds.
Bogg's wife Debbie told Sports reporter 5 that although the diagnosis is scary, they caught it early as Wade was diagnosed during a routine physical.
Wade Boggs is set to begin his specialized Chemo therapy shortly and with the way he played the game of baseball, he is going to battle and beat this thing. He was a 12 time All-Star and 5-time batting champion and was inducted into the baseball Hall-of-fame in 2006. 10-years later in 2016, the Red Sox awarded him the ultimate honor by retiring his #26 up into the rafters.
We have no doubt he will get through this and everyone here at Bruins Latest want to send our thought and prayers with him though this difficult time. You got this Boggs!
