Major News regarding David Pastrnak confirmed
It was a major summer for Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak as he got married to the love of his life and subsequently led his home country of Czechia to a gold medal at this years IIHF Hockey Championships.
It is no surprise that Pastrnak is one of of the best goal scorers in the NHL, but according to Statmuse, it was announced that Pastrnak is the only player since 2020 to score 200+ goals. The wingers among him are the elite of the elite and he is topping that list. Pastrnak is leading wingers like Alexander Ovechkin, Kyle Connor, Mikko Rantanen, William Nylander, and Steven Stamkos.
Last season for the Boston Bruins, Pasta scored 47 goals and 63 assists for 110 points. Although 47 goals is an incredible feat and most would only dream to score that many goals, his numbers in that department did dip from the 2022-2023 season where he surpassed the 60 goal marker (61) for the first time in his career. Fans are hoping that with his new linemates this season that he can get back to that incredible benchmark.
